Terms of Service.

These Terms govern your use of the Maskin website, the Maskin Cloud service, and the Maskin apps for Apple devices (together, the “Service”), provided by Mesh Firm ApS, Denmark (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you can bind it to these Terms.

The open-source Maskin software is licensed separately under Apache 2.0. If you self-host it, the licence applies to your deployment instead of these Terms; these Terms still apply to maskin.io and Maskin Cloud.

Your account

• Give accurate information and keep your credentials and API keys secret. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live if that is higher.
• Tell us promptly at ai@maskin.io if you suspect unauthorised access.

Your content and your agents

You own the insights, bets, tasks, comments, files and other content you and your agents put into the Service (“Your Content”). You give us a limited licence to host, process and display it solely to run the Service for you and your workspace members, including running AI agent sessions that you or your workspace start.

Agents act on your instructions and with the access you grant them, including connected integrations. You are responsible for what your agents are configured to do and for reviewing their output. AI output can be wrong or incomplete; do not rely on it for legal, medical, financial or safety-critical decisions without checking it.

If you connect third-party accounts or provide your own model credentials (for example a Claude subscription), you must have the right to do so and you remain bound by those providers’ terms.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• break the law, or infringe the rights of others, with the Service or through your agents;
• send spam or run agents to harass, deceive or impersonate people;
• probe, disrupt or overload the Service, or bypass its limits or security;
• upload malware or content you have no right to share;
• resell or provide the hosted Service to third parties without our written agreement.

We may suspend access or remove content that breaches these rules or puts the Service or others at risk.

Plans, usage and payment

Some features need a paid plan or usage credits. Prices, limits and billing terms are shown when you buy and are managed on the Maskin website. Fees are non-refundable except where the law requires, and we may change prices for future periods with reasonable notice. Taxes are added where applicable.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service reliable but provide it “as is” and do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or discontinue features, and will give reasonable notice of changes that materially affect you.

Ending your account

You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account by email to ai@maskin.io; we will handle it as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as liability and governing law) do.

Liability

To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit or lost data, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or EUR 100 if you paid nothing). Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for intent or gross negligence, or your mandatory consumer rights.

Apple devices

If you use the Maskin app from the Apple App Store, these Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the app and is not responsible for claims relating to it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms for the app and may enforce them against you.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by Danish law. Disputes go to the courts of Denmark, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights to bring a claim in the courts where you live.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. When we make material changes we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, tell you through the Service. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it.
